Discover Edinburgh’s loathsome Lawbreakers in our spooky tour
Turn off your true crime podcast and join your criminally expert tour guide as you wander the streets of Edinburgh’s Old Town and help to decide who really is Edinburgh’s worst criminal?
Join us on this tour as we unlock the true tales of some of the most well known names in Edinburgh’s history as well as some of the more hidden criminals hiding behind the walls of
this gothic city. We will spend 2 hours wandering the streets of the oldest part of the city, visiting some of the burial sites of the stars of our stories in Greyfriars Graveyard, seeing the
location of some of their last moments at the sights of Edinburgh’s public executions and finally the locations and buildings that these true crimes took place in.
As you walk round the tour you will be putting some of Edinburgh’s absolute worst criminals up against each other as you, the tour’s jury, help your guide to unpick and solve these terrible crimes through an interactive quiz testing your true crime knowledge.
This virtual tour was a fantastic way to escape your home during covid! Our tour guide Jenny was engaging and funny throughout the event. The stories, pictures and ‘walk’ through town made me excited for the day when we can once again travel
Had an excellent time learning more about the dark secrets of Scotland. I joined wanting to hear stories about witchcraft and now have two more pubs to visit next time I am in Edinburgh. The other stories were very interesting and I didn’t realise there is more to Deacon Brodie than I first thought. Thank you Jenny for being a fantastic guide 🙂
Finally ending the tour at the site of what was once, The Tolbooth Prison, one of Edinburgh’s most prolific prisons and deciding as a group which criminal will be crowned once and for all as the absolute worst Edinburgh has to offer!
